Frank Kern : I am a high risk driver and am looking for auto insurance coverage or SR22 insurance – obviously cheap sr22 insurances?

Cheap sr22 insurance for high risk drivers

Response : Frank first let us be clear as to who are labeled as high risk drivers not by virtue of belonging to age group which is labelled as high risk like the young drivers or teens or teenagers and the senior drivers. I know, you donot belong to this class and so lets find out about the other persons who are considered high risk driver. There may be several reasons why you can’t get insurance through traditional private insurance companies:
* You have a poor driving record
* You own a special, high performance car
* You have not driven long enough
* You have not owned your car very long and therefore have no insurance record
* You live in an area where theft and vandalism losses are high.

In this case, you have two options:
1.Get a policy from a private insurance company that specializes in “high-risk” drivers. These are called speciality insurers who would give a cheaper sr22 insurance or auto insurance since they specialize in high risk. They have a large number of insured who are high risk and therefore the law of large numbers would work in their favor and thus they can afford to pass on better rates to the clients, in the form of cheap sr22 insurance or cheaper car insurance quotes. These companies write policies for people with bad accident records, high-performance cars, or who live in “high-risk” neighborhoods. These companies also may be able to sell you more comprehensive coverage than is available through assigned risk pools. All you have to do is click here on the website and get a quote. You will defientely find a cheap sr22 insurance quote.

The second option is to join a state assigned risk pool.
State assigned risk pools operate under a system in which every auto insurer participates in proportion to the amount of business they do in that state on a voluntary basis. Each insurer must accept the motorists assigned to it, retaining the profit or absorbing the loss that comes with that customer. The premiums you will pay will be substantially higher under assigned risk pools than directly with a private insurance company, but at least you will be able to obtain coverage. To find the assigned risk pool or the equivalent in your state you can go to your state insurance web-site. However, this might be applicable in certain states only.

Hope this information on finding auto insurance coverage and cheap sr22 insurance for high risk drivers has proved useful to you.

Thanks.

Jeff Dedrick: What bad driving penalties lead to high auto insurance rates? How can I get low SR22 insurance?

Drunk driving and SR22 insurance is only one penalty:

Response :Bad driving is something for which you pay a high penalty of high auto insurance rates. frustration, legal issues and SR22 insurance. It can lead to total disaster even death! Brandon Silveria was almost one of them. When he was 17, he endured a three-week coma after being involved in a drunk-driving accident. Since his rehabilitation, Silveria has devoted himself to speaking at high schools about his experience and encouraging people under the legal drinking age to make the right decisions about alcohol. He had bad driving, he paid the penalty and learnt a great lesson.

Recently in Ontario a driver did a stunt driving. He drove at a speed of 145 km/h in a 90 km/h zone in a sedan. This was considered stunt driving and he is facing a stunt driving investigation. He had a blood alcohol concentration above the average level of zero. He also produced a false insurance.

With his licence suspended for 90 days and his car impounded for seven days, the court hassles, charges and impact on his record are just the start — there’s the fact that this 20-year-old driver will now face severe repercussions when it comes to obtaining future auto insurance coverage.

This is an excellent example of bad driving and the penalties would certainly affect your auto insurance making you a high risk driver and qualify you for high auto insurance or need the SR22 form or SR22 insurance.

So what’s the lesson here? Breaking the law while on the road means more than just getting fined and having your license revoked — it means immediate consequences, you are faced with constant high auto insurance premiums.
Here are illegal driving actions that come with the added repercussion of automatically affecting your auto insurance rate:
• driving without a licence
• driving without insurance
• driving while impaired (this includes drugs and alcohol)
• racing or stunt driving
• failing to remain at the scene of an accident
• failing to stop for a school bus
• driving with a suspended licence
To ensure you pay the lowest possible premium, always heed the rules of the road. Remember that even if a minor action only costs you a small fine and no immediate change in your current auto insurance rate,. You will definitely be charged much higher at the time of your renewal. A DUI charge or aggressive driving would get you SR22 insurance, change your driving profile, which insurance companies use to determine your rate.
The solution to this is to shop online or get a quote here at duisr22carinsurancequote.com for cheap sr22, affordable high risk insurance or low dui insurance. The choice is yours.

Aggressive driving is high risk

John Resse : I am sometimes an aggressive driver and will this be considered high risk. Can you give me an example. Will I need SR22 insurance, DUI car insurance or high risk insurance?

Response : Aggressive driving is also considred high risk and would require the quotes from high risk insurers which are the same as DUI insurance or SR22 insurance. If you are already an aggressive driver you need to be careful since some times when you are angry or aggressive when driving it can cause a problem. Let me give here a recent example of aggressive driving from a celebrity.

“Tiger Woods caused $3,200 in property damage, wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was driving erratically outside his Florida home before crashing into a tree, according to a report. The six-page report only describes the accident and does not include statements from Woods, his wife, Elin Nordegren, or witnesses. It also includes 105 photos of the accident scene.
The report’s release came just hours after the world’s No. 1 golfer put out a statement saying he had let his family down with “transgressions” he regrets “with all of my heart.” The final accident report shows Woods didn’t just hit a fire hydrant and tree.
Upon leaving his driveway, Woods’ vehicle rubbed up against a line of bushes, crossed over a curb, onto a grass median and into a row of hedges before swerving left into the hydrant and crashing into the tree, an illustration in the report shows. Woods’ vehicle was traveling 30 mph in a 25 mph zone. Damage to the SUV was estimated at $8,000. Photographs of the accident were taken by security officers in the Isleworth community, a neighbor and troopers. The photos show damage to both front sides of the Cadillac Escalade, and the windows on the back passenger doors were broken.
Nordegren told Windermere police she used a golf club to smash the back windows to help Woods get out.
The Florida Highway Patrol closed its inquiry into the crash Tuesday. Woods, who refused to talk to authorities, was charged with careless driving, which carries a $164 fine and four points on his driving record.

This incident has really put Tiger Woods to have a bad driving record for now and earmarked his auto insurance rate to be very high, which would be near high risk category. If you drive like this again and again you are likely to be included in the same category as high risk driver and DUI car insurance quotes. You always need to be careful on the road.

Thanks.
Kamlesh

John Calton: Florida : Would a high risk driver for DUI or aggressive driving who requires FLFR44 car insurance or Sr22 as it is called in other states, be eligible for some safety features discount like air bags?

Response : John, in Florida you require FLFR44 insurance which is similar to SR22 car insurance but has higher limits. Most of the insurance companies would consider a discount for the safety features of a vehicle when they are rating the insurance. However, honestly more than the discount given by the insurance company the safety feature is more an added feature that acts as a life saver for you. Let me give you some statistics given by the NHTSA:
“Airbags are designed to inflate in moderate to severe frontal crashes. NHTSA estimates that by 2006, more than 177 million passenger vehicles were equipped with airbags, including 162 million with dual airbags. NHTSA says that frontal airbags saved 2,788 lives in 2007. From 1987 to 2006, 22,466 lives were saved by the devices. Airbags, combined with seatbelts, are the most effective safety protection available for passenger vehicles. Seatbelts alone reduce the risk of fatal injury to front-seat passenger car occupants by 45 percent. The fatality-reducing effectiveness for air bags is 14 percent when no seatbelt is used and 11 percent when a seatbelt is used in conjunction with air bags. Side airbags that protect the head, chest and abdomen reduce driver deaths by an estimated 37 percent, according to the IIHS. Side airbags without head protection, which protect only the chest and abdomen, are less effective but still reduce deaths by about 26 percent, according to a 2006 study. Head-protecting side airbags reduce driver deaths when cars are struck by SUVs and light trucks, probably because when cars are struck in the side by these higher riding vehicles, heads are more vulnerable.”

Thus in case of drivers who are in the habit of alcohol consumption or are aggressive dirvers who speed, these safety features are certainly life savers.
Be safe and drive safe.
Thanks.
