What are DUI and SR22?
Obama : What are DUI and SR22?
DUI insurance and SR22 Response : DUI stands for driving under influence. DUI/DWI is people who made mistakes in judgment. of taking drinks. In certain states even drinking several beers, a couple of drinks, a glass or two of wine are enough to become legally intoxicated. We usually do not think these drinks affect us, but the law says we are impaired when our blood alcohol concentration (BAC) reaches .08.
If a person is arrested for DUI than his car insurance rates and premium are certainly affected and he has to officially have an SR22. An SR22 is a proof of financial responsibility.
An SR-22 is a certificate of insurance filed by the home office of an insurance company directly to the Secretary of State. The SR-22 certificate is issued in one of the following forms:
- An Operator’s Certificate – The policy covers the driver in the operation of any non-owned car.
- Owner’s Certificate – The policy covers a vehicle which is owned by the driver. The type of vehicle must be listed on the SR-22
- Operators-Owners Certificate – The certificate covers all vehicles owned or non-owned by the driver.
The duisr22 insurance quotes usually high, but one can check out different insurers for quotes for affordable rates.
